The platform is owned and operated by Ask Nebraska LLC, a Nebraska business entity ("Ask Nebraska," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the platform.
Certain business or organizational services may be governed by additional written agreements.
2. Our Services
Ask Nebraska is an AI-powered community navigation platform that helps users discover and understand Nebraska resources, programs, businesses, services, and opportunities.
The platform may provide:
- AI-powered informational assistance.
- Public benefit and government program navigation.
- Housing, healthcare, childcare, employment, and financial resource information.
- Local business discovery and directory listings.
- Community event information.
- Personalized checklists and suggested next steps.
- Business listing and claim submissions.
- Customized services for employers and organizations.
- Other resource navigation functionality as introduced.
Core resident navigation is currently offered without a required user account or subscription.
Certain business or organizational services may have additional requirements or fees.
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.
3. Independent Platform
Ask Nebraska is an independently operated private technology platform.
Ask Nebraska is not the State of Nebraska, a government agency, or an official government benefits administrator.
Unless expressly disclosed, Ask Nebraska is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any government agency.
References to government programs and services are provided to help users locate and understand publicly available information.
Ask Nebraska does not issue government benefits, determine program eligibility, or make decisions on behalf of public agencies.
4. AI-Generated Information
Ask Nebraska uses artificial intelligence to provide informational responses and resource recommendations.
Although we strive to provide accurate and relevant information, AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for particular circumstances.
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of every AI-generated response.
- Availability of a recommended service.
- Eligibility for a government program.
- Approval of a benefit application.
- Acceptance by a business or organization.
- The accuracy of all third-party information.
- Any specific financial, legal, medical, employment, or personal outcome.
Users are responsible for confirming important information with the relevant agency, professional, or service provider.
5. No Professional Advice
Ask Nebraska provides general informational guidance.
Our services do not constitute professional:
- Legal advice.
- Medical advice.
- Financial or investment advice.
- Tax advice.
- Mental health treatment.
- Licensed social work or case management services.
Using Ask Nebraska does not establish a doctor-patient, attorney-client, financial advisory, or other regulated professional relationship.
For important decisions, consult a qualified professional.
For emergencies, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service.
Ask Nebraska does not continuously monitor AI conversations and is not an emergency response service.
6. Government Benefits and Public Assistance
Ask Nebraska may provide information about programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, housing assistance, childcare subsidies, unemployment benefits, and other public resources.
Eligibility requirements, application procedures, deadlines, and funding availability are determined by the responsible agencies and may change.
Ask Nebraska does not guarantee eligibility, application approval, payment of benefits, or continued program availability.
Users should consult official program administrators before relying on eligibility information.
7. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You agree to use Ask Nebraska lawfully and responsibly.
You may not:
- Submit intentionally false or fraudulent information.
- Impersonate another person, business, or organization.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or databases.
- Introduce malicious software or interfere with platform operations.
- Use automated systems to overload or disrupt the service.
- Submit content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Misrepresent professional credentials, business licenses, or insurance.
- Use the platform to facilitate fraud, harassment, threats, or other unlawful conduct.
- Circumvent security measures or access restrictions.
- Misuse platform content or data for unauthorized commercial purposes.
We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to address violations, security concerns, or legal requirements.
8. Accounts and Browser-Based Access
General resident access to Ask Nebraska does not currently require an account.
Certain administrative or organizational features may require authentication.
Users with accounts are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
Some features use browser storage to maintain conversation history, saved plans, and preferences.
Clearing browser data may remove locally stored information.
Server-side conversation records may be handled separately as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Business Directory and Listings
Ask Nebraska provides a platform through which users may discover businesses and service providers.
Businesses may submit information for inclusion in the directory.
Business Responsibilities
Businesses submitting listings agree to:
- Provide truthful and current information.
- Submit only information they are authorized to provide.
- Maintain legally required licenses or registrations.
- Accurately describe services and service areas.
- Disclose material limitations on their services.
- Avoid deceptive or misleading claims.
- Notify Ask Nebraska when material listing information changes.
Ask Nebraska may review listings before publication and may request supporting information.
Listing Review and Verification
Administrative review of a listing does not automatically constitute certification, endorsement, or independent verification of every business claim.
Any verification designation, when implemented, will refer only to checks actually performed.
Ask Nebraska may reject, suspend, correct, or remove listings that violate platform requirements or applicable law.
Independent Providers
Businesses listed on Ask Nebraska are generally independent third parties.
Ask Nebraska does not guarantee the quality, availability, pricing, safety, licensing, insurance, or performance of any provider.
Users should independently verify material provider information before entering into an agreement.
10. Business Rankings and Recommendations
Ask Nebraska seeks to provide relevant recommendations based on factors such as user needs, geographic location, service categories, and available resource information.
Our stated policy is that businesses cannot purchase higher placement in organic recommendations.
Listing fees, if introduced, do not automatically create a right to favorable rankings.
Sponsored content or paid promotional placements, if introduced, will be distinguished from organic results as appropriate.

11. Community Events
Ask Nebraska may publish information about events organized by independent individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, or other entities.
Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit.
Ask Nebraska does not guarantee:
- That an event will occur as scheduled.
- Accuracy of event pricing or availability.
- Event safety or accessibility.
- Organizer performance.
- Refunds or cancellations managed by third parties.
Users should confirm event details directly with organizers.
Ask Nebraska may review, edit, decline, or remove event submissions.
12. Organization and Employer Services
Ask Nebraska may offer subscription-based resource navigation solutions for employers, hospitals, nonprofits, chambers, associations, and other organizations.
Services may include:
- Branded navigation experiences.
- Organization-specific resource information.
- Employee or member access.
- Aggregated usage reporting.
- Administrative features.
- Implementation support.
Specific features, pricing, service levels, payment terms, and implementation obligations may be established through a separate agreement.
Privacy of Individual Users
Standard organizational reporting is intended to provide aggregated insights rather than individual conversation content.
Organizations are not entitled to access individual AI questions merely because they sponsor access to Ask Nebraska.
Additional data-sharing arrangements, if any, must be appropriately disclosed and legally authorized.
13. Fees and Paid Services
Core resident navigation is currently free.
Certain organizational services may require payment.
Published subscription pricing is informational until accepted through an applicable agreement or authorized purchasing process.
Where paid services are offered, applicable terms should disclose:
- Subscription price.
- Billing frequency.
- Any setup fees.
- Minimum commitments.
- Renewal provisions.
- Cancellation requirements.
- Refund terms, if applicable.
Ask Nebraska will not impose recurring charges solely because a user accesses the free resident navigation service.
Additional commercial terms may apply to organizational customers.
14. User Submissions and Content
Users may submit questions, feedback, event information, business listings, photographs, and other content.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit such materials.
You retain ownership of original content you submit, subject to applicable third-party rights.
You grant Ask Nebraska a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display submitted content as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, and secure the platform.
For publicly submitted business or event information, this license includes displaying approved information through relevant public features.
Our processing of personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
Ask Nebraska's software, original website content, branding, logos, design elements, and related intellectual property belong to Ask Nebraska LLC or its licensors.
Users receive a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
Except where authorized by law or written permission, users may not:
- Reproduce or redistribute proprietary platform materials for commercial exploitation.
- Misuse Ask Nebraska trademarks.
- Reverse engineer protected software in violation of applicable law.
- Misrepresent ownership of platform content.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Privacy and Data Processing
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that AI conversations may be processed by third-party technology providers and that authorized Ask Nebraska personnel may review saved conversations for quality and safety purposes.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Ask Nebraska does not provide employers or business partners with private AI conversations merely because they sponsor or appear on the platform.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
Ask Nebraska may link to websites and services operated by government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and other independent providers.
We do not control the content, policies, availability, or actions of those third parties.
A link or recommendation does not automatically constitute endorsement.
Users are responsible for reviewing third-party terms, privacy policies, eligibility rules, and contractual conditions.
18. Platform Availability
We work to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The platform may experience maintenance, updates, outages, technical failures, or other interruptions.
We may modify functionality or restrict access when reasonably necessary for operational, legal, or security reasons.
We are not obligated to maintain every feature indefinitely, except as otherwise required by an applicable agreement or law.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASK NEBRASKA PROVIDES ITS SERVICES AND INFORMATION ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
20. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASK NEBRASKA LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.
THIS INCLUDES, WHERE LAWFULLY EXCLUDABLE, DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:
- RELIANCE ON INACCURATE INFORMATION.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FAILURES.
- INTERRUPTIONS IN PLATFORM AVAILABILITY.
- BUSINESS OR SERVICE PROVIDER DISPUTES.
- MISSED OPPORTUNITIES OR BENEFIT APPLICATION DEADLINES.
- UNAUTHORIZED THIRD-PARTY ACTIVITY.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
ADDITIONAL LIABILITY TERMS FOR PAID ORGANIZATIONAL SERVICES MAY BE ESTABLISHED THROUGH SEPARATE WRITTEN AGREEMENTS.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ask Nebraska LLC and its representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful use of the platform.
- Your material violation of these Terms.
- Fraudulent or misleading information you submit.
- Your infringement of third-party rights.
This provision does not require you to indemnify Ask Nebraska for its own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be shifted.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to platform features when reasonably necessary because of:
- Material violations of these Terms.
- Fraud or abuse.
- Security threats.
- Unauthorized access.
- Unlawful conduct.
- Repeated misuse of the platform.
Users may discontinue use at any time.
Requests involving personal information or account deletion will be handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
